Terms of Service

The rules for using AI Video News: eligibility, upload consent, acceptable use, credits and refunds, rights in generated videos and takedown requests.

Last updated: 2026-10-18

These terms are an agreement between you and AI Video News (ai-videonews.live, "we", "us") and apply whenever you use the site. By creating an account, signing in or buying credits, you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

AI Video News lets you upload one or two photos of people, pets or characters, pick a viral video template, and receive a short AI-generated video in which your cast replaces the performers of the template's reference clip. Videos are rendered by a third-party AI video model through our API provider, KIE.ai, are delivered without sound, and are saved to your account under "Your takes".

Rendering runs on our servers, so you can close the tab while a video is being made. We may add, change or remove templates, models and features over time.

Templates and trends are not ours

Our templates recreate the look and timing of popular video trends. AI Video News is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the creators, artists, labels, platforms or other rights holders behind any trend, song or video that inspires a template, or by anyone who appears in examples on this site. Trend names, songs and trademarks belong to their owners and are mentioned only to describe the format.

Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to create an account, generate videos or buy credits.
  • You can sign in with Google or with an email address. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Don't create extra accounts to collect more free credits.
  • Give accurate information, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Your uploads and consent

Each time you upload a photo, you confirm that:

  • you own the photo or have the right to use it;
  • every real person shown in it has given you permission to use their image and likeness to make an AI video, and so has the photo's owner if that isn't you;
  • nobody in the photo is under 18 — this rule applies even if a parent or guardian agrees;
  • the photo isn't sexual, hateful, violent, harassing or otherwise unlawful, and doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
  • you won't present a generated video of a real person as genuine footage, and you won't use it to suggest that someone endorses a product, person, cause or message when they don't.

Pets and fictional characters are welcome, but characters that belong to someone else may be protected by copyright or trademark.

We and our AI provider may run automated checks on uploads and results. Jobs that are blocked are not delivered, and their credits are returned.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. In particular, don't:

  • upload content you don't have the rights or permissions for, or anything prohibited above;
  • make videos intended to deceive, defraud, harass, bully, sexualize or humiliate anyone, to impersonate a real person, or to spread misleading political or news content;
  • use the service to break the law or the rules of the platforms where you post;
  • try to hack, overload, scrape, copy or reverse-engineer the service, get around credit limits or safety checks, or access other users' data;
  • use stolen or unauthorized payment methods, or abuse refunds and chargebacks.

When you share a generated video publicly, we encourage you to label it as AI-generated, and you must do so wherever the law or the platform requires it.

Credits and payments

  • Making a video costs credits. The cost depends on the template and the options you choose and is shown before you start. Current packs and prices are on the pricing page.
  • Credits are sold as one-time packs (Starter, Studio and Producer). There is no subscription, and nothing renews automatically.
  • Payments are processed by our payment providers, such as Stripe or Creem, or Alipay and WeChat Pay for payments in Chinese yuan where offered. Prices are shown before checkout; taxes or currency conversion may be added at checkout. Some providers act as merchant of record or reseller, in which case their terms also apply to the payment.
  • New accounts receive a one-time welcome bonus of free credits, as shown in your account (currently 5 credits, valid for 30 days). We may change or end the welcome bonus at any time, and free credits can never be exchanged for money.
  • Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. Expired credits are removed and can't be restored or refunded. When you spend credits, the ones that expire soonest are used first.
  • Credits are deducted when you start a generation. If the generation fails, they are returned to your balance automatically.
  • Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, sold or exchanged, and stay tied to your account.

Refunds

  • Failed generations. If a video fails for any reason, its credits go back to your balance automatically. This is a credit refund, not a money refund.
  • Unused packs. If you haven't spent any credits from a pack, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. The money goes back to your original payment method and the pack's credits are removed.
  • Partly used packs are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
  • Billing errors. Duplicate charges, or payments for which credits never arrived, are refunded in full if you tell us within 30 days.
  • Results you don't like. AI output varies, so a delivered video isn't refundable just because of how it looks. If a result is clearly broken — for example, a cast member is missing — email us with the job ID and we may restore the credits.
  • Free credits are never refundable for money.

To ask for a refund, email support@ai-videonews.live from the address you sign in with and include the purchase date. Approved refunds are issued through the original payment provider; your bank may take a few extra days to show them.

EU and UK consumers. By starting a generation, you ask us to deliver the digital service immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for the credits you use. Unused credits stay covered by the 14-day refund above.

Please contact us before filing a chargeback. If a payment is reversed, we remove the related credits; if they have already been used, we may suspend the account until the balance is settled. Where a payment provider's policies or your statutory consumer rights give you more than these terms, those take precedence.

Rights in your uploads and videos

  • Your uploads stay yours. You keep whatever rights you have in your photos.
  • The license you give us. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, process, transmit and display your photos and generated videos only as needed to run the service for you, including sending them to KIE.ai to make your video, and to enforce these terms. The license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law. We don't use your content in our marketing without your separate permission.
  • Your videos. As between you and us, and to the extent we hold any rights in an output, we assign them to you. Subject to these terms, you may use your generated videos for personal and social-media purposes.
  • Other people's rights. A template's original performance, choreography, music and other elements belong to their owners. Some uses, especially commercial ones such as advertising, may need permissions we cannot give. You are responsible for following copyright and publicity laws and the rules of the platforms where you post.
  • No exclusivity. AI models can produce similar results for different users, and the legal protection available for AI-generated material varies from country to country.

Our intellectual property

The AI Video News name, the site's design, our software, and our own text and graphics belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the videos you generate, you may not copy, resell or redistribute material from the site without our permission. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Copyright and takedown requests

If you believe that a template, example video or other material on ai-videonews.live uses your copyright, trademark or likeness without permission, or that a video made with our service shows you without your consent, email support@ai-videonews.live with the subject "Takedown request" and include:

  • your name and contact details, and the rights holder you represent if it isn't you;
  • the URL or URLs of the material, or a clear description of it;
  • the work, trademark or likeness you believe is being used;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the rights holder or by law;
  • a statement that the information in your request is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

We aim to reply within 3 business days. Once a request is complete, we remove or disable the material while we review it and tell you what we did. If material you uploaded or generated is removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to our notice and explain why; we will review it and may restore it. We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe other people's rights.

We can only remove material from our own site and storage. For copies someone has posted on another platform, please also use that platform's reporting tools; we may suspend the account that made the video.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account, remove content or cancel queued videos if we reasonably believe the account:

  • broke these terms, especially the upload, consent and acceptable-use rules;
  • uploaded images of minors, sexual content or other illegal material;
  • used several accounts to collect free credits, or tried to get around credit limits;
  • used fraudulent payments or abused chargebacks;
  • puts other users, the service or our providers at risk, or must be closed by law.

In serious cases, such as illegal content, anything involving minors, fraud or security threats, we may act immediately and without notice, and we may report illegal content to the authorities. In other cases we will usually warn you by email first.

If we close an account because it broke these terms, its remaining credits, purchased or free, are forfeited and not refunded. If we close an account for any other reason, we refund unused purchased credits in proportion to what you paid.

If you think we got it wrong, email us within 30 days; a person will review the decision and reply.

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. Unused purchased credits are refundable only as described under Refunds.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI output is unpredictable: faces, bodies, gestures, timing and lip movement may differ from your photos or from the template, and we don't guarantee any particular result, rendering time, uptime, or that a template will stay available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms takes away consumer rights that cannot be waived by contract.

We may change, pause or discontinue features or the whole service. If we permanently stop paid generation, we will tell signed-in users in advance and give reasonable notice to use their remaining purchased credits.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither we nor our providers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or to anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Your responsibility for your content

You are responsible for the photos you upload and for how you use the videos you make. If someone brings a claim against us because of your uploads, your videos or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, to the extent the law allows.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will let signed-in users know by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [Owner: insert jurisdiction], and disputes will be heard by the courts of [Owner: insert jurisdiction]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of the service. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the information on the pricing page, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
